2. Peter Quill’s cassette player is called the Sony TPS-L2, but it’s actually the first generation of Walkman that was released in 1979. Its placement in the film put the Walkman back on the style map for teens and young adults everywhere.


3. Josh Brolin wasn’t credited, but he was the last cast member chosen for the film. Brolin’s portrayal of Thanos was based on Marlon Brando’s character Colonel Walter E. Kurtz in Apocalypse Now. Did you catch the similarities?
