Boy Who Lost Both Of His Parents Within Weeks Of Each Other Finds A Happy New Start

Over the course of 12 days, a two-year-old named Easton went from having two parents to being an orphan. The shocking death of his mother also exposed a dark family secret that brought into question everything the family thought they knew. But it didn't change the fact that they needed to figure out what would happen to Easton. Despite the seemingly insurmountable emotional and logistical turmoil, there was one woman who was determined not only that Easton wouldn't be without family, but that he would also have the best life possible.

Mom blogger

That woman was Molly Schultz, who at that time had four daughters. And one look at Molly's motherhood blog, Tried & True Mama, will tell you that she didn't shy away from a parenting challenge. The then-27-year-old served as the glue of a household that no doubt echoed with the giggles and footsteps of her four kids. Though she and her husband swear they didn't plan it, all of their girl's names have a common theme. Presley, Sawyer, and identical twins Lennon and Halen are named after culturally famous figures.

Same but different

"Our older two are brunettes with dark eyes and olive skin, while our twins have been so lovingly dubbed the 'white walkers' due to their fair skin, blonde hair, and crystal clear blue eyes," Molly explained on her blog. "Our twin girls are identical, although very easy to tell apart from personality alone."

Busy lady

As a full-time mom, Molly developed a parenting philosophy that undoubtedly help try to keep everything in perspective. "My journey of motherhood has been one filled with many plot twists and surprises, along with more love and joy than I ever knew possible," she explained on her blog.

Molly's mission

Molly also shared on her blog, "We live with the intention of a simplistic childhood, not focusing too much on materialistic things, but rather experiences and memories. We believe in eating meals together around the table as a family and learning as much as well can from one another." Along with her husband, Tim, she seemingly puts family above all else.
