'Unbreakable' World Records That No Human Alive Could Ever Beat

Hairiest family. Longest tongue. Oldest male stripper. If it's out there, chances are there's a Guinness World Record for it. Since its inception in 1955, GWR has catalogued thousands of feats ranging from the incredible to the bizarre, though no matter how full the book got, most these acts seemed somewhat doable... or, at least, so we thought. Even with all training and natural talent in the world, these "unbreakable" world records look like they'll stay that way forever — that is, unless you want to best them yourself!

1. Powerful Pastor

Along with pulling trucks, ships, and trains, pastor Kevin Fast is well-known for dragging a 416-ton CC-177 Globemaster III airplane an impressive 28 feet. Kevin claimed he could have pulled the plane much farther, and we'll agree since he could easily beat us up.

Strength From Above

"Most people in religious circles find it hard to believe that I do all these feats of strength. A pastor is usually small and weak. But my parishioners here at the church are always supportive," Kevin shared. "We are a nice big family and they like to hear about my exploits."

2. One Tough Tongue

One record that doesn't attract much competition is the heaviest weight held by a human tongue. Instead of competing with other tongue workout enthusiasts, Thomas Blackthorne decided to challenge himself. He broke the tongue record the first time in 2004 by lifting 24 pounds — which he trained six years to accomplish.

Challenging Himself

Thomas wasn't satisfied with his 24-pound achievement, however. He knew his tongue was capable of more — and he was right. In 2006, Thomas lifted 25 pounds, and in 2008, he outdid himself once again by raising a 27-pound weight. Safe to say his tongue probably has a six pack.
